Transferable Skills Analysis

A Transferable Skills Analysis is a systematic review of an individual’s academic, employment and volunteer history, work skills and experience, individual traits and aptitudes, personal vocational interests and functional abilities at the time of the analysis.  The Transferable Skills Analysis considers these factors in the context of the individual’s medical, psychological and cognitive status, to determine their occupational profile.  An individual’s occupational profile pertains to the occupations for which they possess the necessary occupational factors to perform.  The Transferable Skills Analysis can be used as a valuable resource to compare an individual’s pre- and post-loss occupational profile, and in the analysis of economic losses, if any, associated with a change in one’s occupational profile, after accounting for mitigation potential, such as through skills training.
